Ficus variegata

A large spreading buttressed fig with smooth light brown bark. Prolific fruiting on lower trunk and large branches is characteristic. Fruits ripen to brown with lighter speckles. Common along the coast and river forests on alluvial soils in North Queensland wet tropics and Cape York Peninsula.
Complex and semi-deciduous meso/notophyll vine forests.
